Design of a commercial bakery in Astoria, Queens, featuring the adaptive reuse of an existing masonry ceiling and original wood floors. The project balanced contemporary commercial requirements with the preservation of historic materials, creating a warm, durable environment that celebrates the building’s character while supporting daily operations.
